2006 JUNIOR TEAM CANADA
The Canadian Ball Hockey Association has announced its roster for the World Championships to be held in Turin, Italy, in June 2006. Twenty-four players have been selected and into these players' hands will fall the responsibility of recapturing the World Championship that Canada won in dramatic fashion over the Czech Republic in 2000.

General Manager, Mauro Cugini, was pleased with the composition of the club. "Our extensive scouting and analysis, brought to light the fact that we had to upgrade our back-line and add some size without affecting Canada's speed and skill".

He continued, "this may be our most athletic club and like most championship teams, we have built this team with strong goaltending and a versatile defence". I can truly say that our overall make-up will be stronger and I believe we have gotten more skilled and faster than our previous teams".
