2007 Women's Team Canada Announcement

Thirteen Ontarians named to the team

(TORONTO) November 10, 2006 - The Canadian Ball Hockey Association has announced its roster for the inaugural Women's World Championships to be held in Ratighen, Germany, in June 2007. Twenty-five players have been selected and into these players' hands will fall the responsibility of capturing the World Championship.

General Manager, Sophie Dagenais, could not have sounded happier with the composition of the club. "This team is comprised of highly talented, dedicated and diverse players led by an experienced, passionate and motivated coaching staff"

Similar sentiments were echoed by Head Coach Chris Pellerin during the scouting session, "players of this team were brought together because they each bring a unique set of skills and expertise to the team. We are confident that they will indeed represent Canada well in Germany."
