On the National stage, Ontario teams represented the province well beginning with the Belleville Bulls capturing the U17 National Championship and the Penetang Blazers the bronze. The Belleville Predators won the silver medals in the U19 event and Ontario captured bronze.

At the Senior Nationals, we captured both bronze medallions, Vaughan Jets {men's} and Toronto Orange Crush {women's}. We were well represented at the Eastern Regionals as two Ontario teams returned home with medals, Young Guns {'B' Bronze} and Canadian Jokers {'C' Silver}.

On the international stage, Mauro Cugini was recently named Junior Team Canada U20 General Manager for the 2008 World Championships being held in St. John's, Newfoundland. Also, joining him from Ontario will be Dr. Jason Su, Marta Dos Santos, RMT and Harvey Boutillier, Equipment Manager. On the JTC U16 & U18 program, Steve Dockerty was named General Manager for the inaugural event next June in Zvolen, Slovakia.
