TORONTO – The Junior U-16 Team Canada unveiled their championship rings on Saturday night at the Ontario Ball Hockey Association Awards Dinner and Banquet, Celebration of Excellence.

Since the Ontario Ball Hockey Association (OBHA) was formed in 1974 leagues have fostered the association’s growth. Today, there are over 90 leagues in the OBHA and ball hockey is growing across the province.

2010 Annual Banquet and Awards of Excellence

The Ontario Ball Hockey Association on Saturday, November 6 hosted the 2010 Annual Banquet and Awards of Excellence celebration. O.B.H.A. league administrators, officials, volunteers, athletes and invited guests gathered under one roof to pay tribute and honor those who helped make the past year in ball hockey both a successful and memorable one for everyone involved.     

When thinking of World Ball Hockey Championships most would associate it with the Junior Team Canada program (JTC). The JTC has had many young individuals from the Beeton, Ontario area as part of the program over the past few years. But in just a few short weeks, a new group of individuals from this area will be heading to Bratislava, Slovakia for another World Championship, this time it wont be players under 20, it will be players over 40.

TORONTO, ON -  The Canadian Ball Hockey Association announced that a second canadian team entry is preparing to compete for gold in the upcoming inaugural ISBHF World Master Mens Championship being hosted November 11-14, 2010 in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia.

In Memoriam of Paul Kokelj

We are deeply saddened by theloss of our friend and team mate Paul Kokelj, who passed away quietly in his sleep Wednesday morning after a courageous battle with cancer. Although his body was failing him, his spirit, faith and compassion continued to help all around him even in his final hours.
