The Canadian and Ontario Hockey League’s announced that Justin Di Benedetto of the Sarnia Sting was the Player of the Week for the week ending October 12 after scoring five goals and four assists for nine points in three games finishing with a plus-3 plus-minus rating.
Hockey Canada has named the 21 players who will compete at the 2008 4 Nations Cup which include two familiar faces for ball hockey fans in Ontario.

A Peak Performance In The Mountains

This is a game for the ages, for all ages as a matter of fact that has become a legacy onto it’s own. It is a game that has become an institution, a way of life for thousands of players, coaches, officials, administrators and fans of an activity that is played with a ball and a stick on neighbourhood streets, schoolyard parking lots, gymnasiums and rinks from coast-to- coast throughout the country.

OBHA Teams Golden in Halifax

The OBHA went three for three as it swept the gold podium on Sunday in Halifax. The OBHA has captured the inaugural championship in all three junior divisions, U19 in 1999 (Vaughan Capitals), U17 in 2006 (Belleville Bulls) and most recently the U15 (Penetang Blazers).
