On January 29, 2011, the Burlington Ball Hockey League family lost Bill Groves to a long battle with cancer. Bill was the Referee-in-Chief, a close friend and a dedicated member of the organization and was involved with the BBHL from the inception of the league going back to 1988 and was our Referee Chief for the last 20 years. Bill was very instrumental in getting the league to where they is it today.
