“Build it and they will come!” The City of Toronto did just that for the 2011 Street Buds Tournament this past weekend April 9-10 as they constructed three temporary rinks in the Canadian National Exhibition park grounds at the Better Living Centre. The event played host to twenty six teams at five age groups culminating with the championship games.

Congratulations to all of the administrators, officials, coaches, players and fans that participated in the tournament and helped to make the event a resounding success in support of such a worthwhile cause.

We would like to congratulate the following division winners:

Tyke Champions ~ BROWN
Novice Champions ~ HILLCREST
Atom Champions ~ EARL BEATTY
Peewee Champions ~ BROWN
Bantam Champions ~ WELLESLEY
