CBHA name 19 Ontario players to Junior U16 & U18 Team Canada

The Canadian Ball Hockey Association has announced its rosters for the Junior World Championships to be held in Pisek (U16) and Strakonice (U18), Czech Republic June 19-23 in 2012. Twenty-two players have been selected to each team and into these playersÂ’ hands will fall the responsibility of recapturing the World Championship.

In putting this version of Junior Team Canada together the CBHA expanded its scouting to include the Western Challenge Cup, Ontario Provincials and the Junior Nationals. The teams are made up of players representing four provinces and nineteen from Ontario listed below.

U16 JUNIOR TEAM CANADA
Goalies: Tyler Richardson, Defense: Maurizio Colella, Danny Filatre, Nick Heins, Brody Morris, Forwards: Stephen Alvo, Jordon Cannons, Noah Delmas, TJ Patterson, Jack Scanlan, Max White and Connor Whiteside

U18 JUNIOR TEAM CANADA
Goalies: Matthew Hall, Defense: Hayden Cole, Brandon Frandsen, Forwards: Brendan Alward, Justin Maiolino, Jessey Moreau and Cam Nicoll
Joining the boys from Ontario named to the staff are, Barry Greer (Head Coach U18), Scott Jacobi (Head Coach U16), Rolland Heider (Registered Massage Therapist) and Matt Sands (Equipment Manager/Trainer).
