The Pirates from North York would show a lot of fight, but in the end all star goaltender Eric Hammond and tournament leading scorer and MVP Forward Ryan Olsen were just too much for the team from the big smoke.

The Pirates were in the game throughout, but couldn’t get that one goal to get them over the hump and the Punishers were simply relentless with their forecheck.

The Punishers carried the play for much of the first period and after eighteen minutes led 3 to 1 and play a controlled defensive game throughout the second limiting the Pirates chances to the outside.

The Punishers now set their sights on the Men’s C Provincial Championship in late August.
