The most important factor in the success of any team is ensuring that the players work together towards one common goal, that responsibility falls on the shoulders of the players both on and off the floor leader and Red Lite have one of the most fiery competitors the game has seen in many years, Paul Roy stresses team goals and the players all play their role.
The team still has some wonderfully gifted players, but still relies on the old guard to keep everyone focused and that has fallen on the shoulders of Mr. Roy who continues to show his versatility in every game.
The team can send over three solid lines, but it is the constant offense that sets this team apart from others.
The road to the championship had the team seeded third after the preliminary round games and faced Powerball in the Quarter finals which they won 8-0 and in the semi finals played the run and gun, Team USA as they pulled out a late victory 5-4 with the winner in the final two minutes of play and then captured the championship with a 6-4 win over Levis.
This was Red Lites second consecutive win of the Le Challenge Invitation Elite.
