The announcement comes at the conclusion of the National Junior Team selection camp, which ran December 10-13 in Calgary and includes an OHA alumni member.

Mark Scheifele (Kitchener) will be one of thirteen forwards at the World Championships. He is a product of the Kitchener-Waterloo Minor Ball Hockey League and participated at the provincials and national competition. (pictured to the left practising with the team).

Scheifele is a member of the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Hockey League and first round draft pick in 2011 of the Winnipeg Jets.
