Hamilton Red Wings rookie forward Christiano DiGiacinto (photo credit - Graeme Reid/OJHL Images) has signed with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and will join the club immediately.

Cristiano has spent the last 2 summers playing in the Burlington Ball Hockey League (BBHL) "A" Division with his club team, the Bruins. He joined his father Danny who has been a main stay BBHL player for many years now. Danny has had the longevity to be able to play with both his sons Cristiano and Patrick in BBHL League play.

DiGiacinto who was with the Hamilton Red Wings had 11 points in nine games (8G, 3A) before accepting the offer to sign with the OHL's Windsor Spitfires.

We would like to congratulate and wish Cristiano success in the OHL.

Congratulations to Christiano and best of luck at the next level!
