The Ontario Summer Games began in 1970 as a showcase for amateur sport. They have now become Ontario's largest multi-sport event, including both team and individual sports. Provincial level athletes qualify through a selection process conducted by provincial sport organizations.

Hockey Canada announced Sunday the 23 players selected for Canada’s National Women’s Team during the 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship, taking place April 7-14 in Burlington, Vt.

For over two decades, the Burlington Ball Hockey League has been providing Burlington residents with a summer alternative to winter's favorite sport and this year marks their 25th anniversary.

Welcome To The Show

They all began playing ball hockey on the streets and like so many youngsters dream of that one day of perhaps playing in the ‘SHOW’.

They came and played, and PLAYED ON……the Downsview Park 3 on 3 Ball Hockey Tournament hosted ninety eight teams on Saturday, February 11, 2012 as they constructed sixteen temporary rinks on the park grounds to facilitate the event.

2012 Ontario Summer Games Postings
