All summer we had exciting games throughout our province, from the Qualifiers {National, Men’s B, C, D & Masters} in June through to the Minor Provincials {Minor and Bantam & Junior} in July.  The Men’s B, C, Masters and Women’s A & B} provincials throughout the month of August culminated with the Men’s D Provincials.   The game and our events keep growing thanks to our membership.  When your having this good of a time at a ball hockey event, we say keep the ball rolling!

For complete Provincial Championship results, please visit the OBHA web site at www.ontarioballhockey.ca, News link.  We will be honoring all of our champions and award winners at the OBHA’s, Celebration of Excellence Awards Dinner and Banquet, November 8.  For ticket information, you may contact the office at 905 738 3320.

On the National stage, Ontario teams represented the province well beginning with the Junior Nationals bringing home the gold medal, Penetanguishene Blazers.  At the Bantam Nationals we brought home another gold medal, Belleville Bulls and at the inaugural Peewee we captured gold, Penetang Blazers and silver, Belleville Bulls.  At the Senior Nationals, we captured silver Midnight Express {men’s} and gold, Oshawa Stampede and silver Toronto Orange Crush in women’s ‘A’ Pool.  In women’s B pool action the Vanier United won gold. Ontario teams faired well at the Eastern B Regionals with the Orangemen winning gold and bronze with the NY Leafs.

Come back and visit our web site on a regular basis during the coming months as we will announce the Senior  Team Canada rosters for both the men’s and women’s teams which hope to feature some of the Ontario athletes, as well as the announcement of all the 2009 Calendar of Events.  We will be adding more features and hope to create the most in depth information source for Canada's national past-time, ball hockey.

Enjoy, this is Your Source for Ball Hockey Information.
